Service Description
The Psychological Center at The City College of New York (CCNY) is a community based mental health clinic dedicated to providing low cost psychological care to children, adolescents and adults. The mission of the Clinic is to provide affordable mental healthcare in a community setting, especially to those individuals from underserved, poor and disenfranchised populations from the New York Metropolitan area. They offer psychological evaluations, psychological/neuropsychological testing; individual, group, family and couples psychotherapy; and a variety of dynamic and empirically supported interventions including social skills training. All services are provided by doctoral students in the Clinical Psychology PhD program at CCNY. The intake fee for all therapy services is $30 to be paid at the start of the first intake session. The individual and group therapy fee is $50 per session. However, individuals can apply for a reduced fee for all psychotherapy services. Further information is available on their website.
