The Fifth Avenue Counseling Center has been providing mental health care to New Yorkers for over 50 years and is known for providing expert, and affordable psychotherapy. \n\nTheir team is composed of over forty clinical social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrists. Members of our staff are dedicated to providing specialized care, which may involve individual psychotherapy, couples therapy, group therapy, and/or medication management. Clinicians collaborate with clients, setting attainable therapeutic goals and providing indicated interventions to maximize functioning in all aspects of clients’ lives. They pride themselves on the provision of individualized, strength-based, and confidential care to support a fully diverse range of clients.\n\nAs a not-for-profit, outpatient mental health center licensed by the New York State Department of Health and Mental Health, they are dedicated to the provision of accessible and affordable care. They accept most major health plans and also offer a sliding scale fee structure dependent on client income.
